Long-Term Running Goals:
Married, working, training. While my wife has nixed all future attempts to grow glorious mustaches, she has been supportive of my crazy running dreams. Life is good.
40 min pool workout. 10x2 min repeats to keep the heartrate high. Seems to be ok on the knee so I'll probably start adding more of these in.
30 min of pool workout (HR 130-150). Then 49:49 for 7 miles up to Padden and back.
30 min pool workout + 7 miles running (53:59). Adding the pool stuff has made me feel completely worn out. Also did 4x100yard strides just to see how the knee would respond. Seems to be fine so far.
7 miles (52:12) on the Boulevard.
Out Connelly to the bench and back, 5x100y strides and a little more to make it a solid 9 for the day. Pretty happy with how things are going.
Easy run around Lake Padden. I tweaked my Achilles tendon a bit in my strides yesterday, over did it just a bit. It's been sore walking around, but it didn't seem to bother me too much on the run today.
